As the world seeks alternatives to fossil fuels, hydrogen is emerging as a key player in the transition to sustainable energy. Known as the most abundant element in the universe, hydrogen can be used as a clean fuel, producing only water as a byproduct when consumed in a fuel cell. The challenge lies in hydrogen generation — how to produce it efficiently, sustainably, and at scale.
Hydrogen generation refers to the processes used to produce hydrogen gas (H₂) from various sources. While hydrogen is plentiful, it rarely exists in its pure form and must be separated from compounds like water (H₂O) or hydrocarbons (CH₄).
Steam Methane Reforming (SMR)
Currently the most common method.
Tanner had a kind heart.
One day I got a call from his high school principal. She proceeds to tell me what wonderful person Tanner is, he is respectful, kind very helpful. So popular with his peers but.... he's suspended. You need to come pick him up.
I was silent for a second, a little confused. She had just stated what a good kid he was. I asked, is he with you right now? Did he just hear everything you said. She says yes. With a sigh, I asked what happened. She said he had an e cig and was caught in the bathroom it's an automatic suspension.
First thing he says when I pick him up, I'm sorry mom.
Next thing he says, can I go skate?
It was a heck of a ride Tanner. I miss you so much.
